
Mackinac Bridge..Bridge bow/swings east or west as much as 20 feet on windy days.Towers move north and south as much as 18 feet depending on weight of the vehicles at different points. It also moves up and down as much as 12 feet depending on the temperature. (No wonder Linda hates it!) 5 miles long, 950 feet longer than the Golden Gate Bridge. Extends from Straits of Mackinac with Lake Michigan to the west and Lake Huron to the east.
