Fort Scott National Historic Site. 20 historical structures either restored or reconstructed. Dating from time of settlement of Missouri as state and Native-American issues...then sold...later used as fort during Civil War. Missouri was a blood bath state of division over slavery issue.
Linda locked Dave up in Fort Scott army jail. Then Linda decided he has spent enough jail time so gave him a reprieve.

Live Buffalo at a Geo cache site...down the road from Dave and Linda's hotel. We had supper at a chicken place. Two chicken restaruants..a house length apart...two signs...some color scheme and same daily schedules...one called " Chicken Mary's" (which we ate at) and other is "Chicken Annie's"
